Zepp Head Tennis Sensor

Over the past few years there has been an exponential growth of connected devices that allow, in every field, monitoring and analysis of behavior and data collected. In the IoT (Internet of Things) era, in which everything is “connected,” there is certainly no lack of sensors that can analyze and track our progress on the tennis court.

The Zepp Head Tennis Sensor records, analyzes, and shares the data collected on court, with the intention of evolving the tennis player’s game and tracking progress.

The sensor has four modes:

  • play
  • train
  • compete
  • 3D serve

In PLAY mode, the player can view shot data such as ball speed, spin, sweetspot area, and more. One can take advantage of a wide range of training exercises in TRAIN mode, designed to improve one’s playing style. In COMPETE mode one can compete with friends by sharing his data. The 3D SERVE option analyzes the serve by displaying a graphical view of the movement.

The sensor is interchangeable and easy to install. It can be attached to the base of the handle of a wide range of Head racquets and connects via Bluetooth to iOS and Android devices (by installing the mobile app) for live data transmission.
