On court – The pros
Let’s start from the peculiarity that most affects the player already after a few exchanges, ie an ease of play hardly found in other frames.
The FeelFlex system allows the ball to stay in contact with the stringbed for a time suitable to return a great feeling. The feeling returned is that of a fairly stable frame and a very large sweetspot that facilitates the game: it seems to have become suddenly very clean in hitting the ball!
The maneuverability is very perceptible, even in the hits on the fly or above the head. At game rates not too high, the precision returned is really appreciable.
The fundamentals from the baseline are both good, with a slight preference to the backend, probably still transmitted by the great maneuverability. Even the rotating shots are quite good with a good attitude to spin, very facilitated by the new scheme. The flat service is fast and penetrating, maintaining also in this case excellent precision. Rotations on the service are accessible but not very incisive.
Another feather in the cap of this racket and certainly the comfort. The vibrations are virtually absent, the impact always pleasant even on off-center shots. The Blade 104 is unlikely to cause trauma in the player’s limb.
