Who is it for
Don’t be fooled by the word “Soft” in the name… this Focus-HEX is not for everyone but rather mainly for competitive players.
The different gauges available make the string suitable for different string patterns (smaller gauges for dense patterns and bigger gauges for open patterns), but in our opinion it works best on profiled frames with a large head size and an open string pattern (for example, gauge 1.25 or 1.30 on Babolat Pure Drive) as per field tests.
That being said, when strung at low tensions (under 20kg) it can also be used by a more “amateur” audience looking for “pro” sensations.
