On Court, quite new feelings for a Pure Drive!
You immediately notice a more sensitive, comfortable and solid impact, with respect to the past. The ball pocketing is probably slightly increased, this is especially felt when you want to generate spin, especially topspin.
From baseline you can hit the ball with good confidence, or better, it is even suggested to do so.
Another positive note is the good feeling on shots that require more sensitivity, like drop shots for example.
As in the past, the excellent maneuverability results in excellent performance on service, especially for kick and slice variations.
We believe that the particularly intense impact that is perceived is due to two factors. The HTR System for sure, but also the new grommets which are very well built at 3 and 9 o’clock. The string movement and wearing confirm how well these two elements perform regarding snap-back.
